Hello RU ASIS&T fans/followers/members! I will be your friendly blogger for this website. Please write to me (lskalkos at eden.rutgers.edu) if you have any ideas for blog posts, thoughts, questions, etc. Right now RU ASIS&T is in the process of figuring out what to offer the student body in terms of workshops and meetings. So if you have any ideas on a technology you might want to learn more about, or are interested in joining, let us know.
In the meantime, if you are not familiar with RU ASIS&T, you should know that we’re the Rutgers chapter of the American Society for Information Science and Technology. ASIS&T began in 1937, and is dedicated to “leading the search for new and better theories, techniques, and technologies to improve access to information.”
