Both the technological and economic landscapes continue to evolve.&nbsp; Come join us as we celebrate the 40<sup>th<\/sup> anniversary of Rutgers University\u2019s Journalism &amp; Media Studies Department on April 10, 2015, with a conference that will explore what these changes mean for the production, dissemination, and consumption of <em>quality<\/em> journalism.<\/p>\n<p>What does the notion of <em>quality<\/em> journalism mean in the contemporary media environment? Has the definition been changing over time? How should we go about measuring quality journalism? What are the most prominent challenges and opportunities associated with producing and sustaining quality journalism in the contemporary media environment?&nbsp; These are just some of the questions that this conference will address.<\/p>\n<p>Supported by the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.grdodge.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">Geraldine R.
